Summary: Spartronics is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will involve preparing, negotiating, and reviewing various company contracts, such as purchases, sales, and business partnerships.

Location- Can work on-site at any of our US locations. Logan, UT; Watertown, SD; Brooksville, FL; Strongsville, OH; Plaistow, NH; Williamsport, PA; or Fairport, NY.

Reports to- Vice President of Legal & General Counsel

What a Day Looks Like:

  • Direct responsibility for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating Contracts with OEM Partners, Suppliers, Government Customers.
  • Ensures contracts are administered and monitored to maintain compliance with the terms of the agreements.
  • Review and update existing contracts.
  • Explain terms and conditions to managers and interested parties.
  • Ensure that employees understand and comply with company contracts.
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms and make adjustments, as necessary.
  • Stay up-to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department, as needed.
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. payments and shipping).
  • Maintain organized system of physical and digital records.
  • Create language standards for existing and new contracts.

Requirements

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; additional qualifications in law are a plus. CFCM Certification is desired.
  • 5 Years of proven work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager, or relevant role.
  • Government Contracts Experience
  • Previous experience in the Defense & Aerospace industry
  • EMS industry experience or at a minimum, general electronics manufacturing background is required.
  • Executive level relationship management expertise
  • Have a strong understanding of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations- including substantial FARs and DFARs.
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures and pay cycles related to government subcontracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors on contracts and proposals.
  • Strong analytical mindset and being highly organized is necessary.
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external Spartronics partners.
  • Due to ITAR Restrictions all candidates must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee. We are unable to sponsor visas.
